Guided Day
Walks
Mull Magic offers a wide
variety of walks and tours throughout the year. Most of our
walks are either easy or moderately graded, although our
Mountain Magic experience provides more of a challenge. Please
click on the links to the left or the images below for more details of our most
popular days out.
As if the stunning scenery
and wondrous wildlife of the Isle of Mull were not enough, a tour
would not be complete without the renowned and sumptuous Mull
Magic lunch. All our lunches include homemade soup, freshly
baked filled rolls, homemade cake, fruit and bottled water.
We end our day with afternoon tea (or coffee) and shortbread. We
pride ourselves in using local produce wherever possible, such as
salad from the garden at Glengorm Castle and the famous Isle of
Mull cheddar cheese from the island's very own cheese farm. We
can cater for most special diets - please let us know at
time of booking.
Whichever tour you decide
upon, Mull Magic can guarantee a unique and exhilarating
adventure amid some of Scotland's most breathtaking landscapes.
We pride ourselves in taking you on journeys of discovery
that are off the beaten track and inaccessible to most visitors
to the island.
If you are in
any doubt about your fitness, please do not hesitate to contact
us and we can advise you further - the following information may
be of some help.
Easy
Walks for reasonably fit
people with a little walking experience. The walks will be along
well defined paths including some road walking -
5 miles maximum in distance.
Moderate
Walks for people who already
have some walking experience and a good level of fitness. May
include some steep paths and parts of the walk will be off the
beaten track. 7 - 10 miles in distance.
Strenuous
Walks for more experienced
walkers with an excellent fitness level. May include hills (1500 -
3000 feet) but taken at a leisurely pace. 6 - 12 miles in
distance.
Clothing
Walking boots, a small rucksack and a waterproof jacket are
essential on our walks. Stout walking shoes may be suitable for
the Easy Graded Walks but NO
trainers. Waterproof trousers are highly recommended.
PLEASE
NOTE - All of our walks can be wet and muddy in places at any
time of the year. We guarantee you a great day out but can't
guarantee you'll return with dry feet!
